RG179 PPO Biofuel

RG179 pure plant oil (PPO) biofuel is a technical grade of plant oil enhanced with a proprietary additive pack. A small amount by volume of additive technology is required to ensure a stable fuel oil capable of withstanding the demands of high speed, high pressure modern diesel engines. In the same way that diesel fuel is not 'pure' - it's actually a base fuel enhanced with a complex additive pack - so too is Regenatec's RG179 PPO. The additive technology used by Regenatec has been developed under Confidentiality Agreement with a leading industry additive manufacturer. RG179 is being subjected to an ongoing independent programme of evaluation with our commercial fleet customers and our academic research partners: Oxford Brookes University Automotive Labs and Brunel University, UK.

The base plant oils used are technical grades of rape seed and soya. RG179 produced from non-food oils, such as Jatropha and Pongamia, are currently under development and will be made available in the near future.

Regenatec is able to supply RG179 in quantities from 1,000 to 28,000 litres, duty paid, anywhere in the UK via standard road tanker.

Regenatec is also able to supply under license RG179 additives for overseas commercial customers who have ability to blend in an approved plant.
